Childs. After graduating from Umass, Amherst - Stockbrigde School of Agriculture, Peter worked in the field as tree care worker, gradually finding a job as tree warden in Orange, Nutley and Montclair, New Jersey. He moved back to Cape Cod in 1972 and began working as one of the only true "arborist" in the area. His two sons, Mark and Peter Jr., worked for the company; Peter Jr. eventually graduated from UMass, Amherst with a B.S. in Arboriculture / Urban Forestry and purchased the business in 1999.
